Bahadır Gürsoy

Bahadır Gürsoy joined Stock in 2004 and heads its patent department. Bahadır is a Turkish and European patent attorney, with a strong background in mechanical engineering. He obtained a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Uludag, Türkiye.

With more than 20 years of experience in patent law, Mr Gürsoy has developed extensive patent expertise in various fields, including: mechatronics; automation; automotive; medical devices; composites; control systems; energy; manufacturing and additive manufacturing; nanotechnology; robotics; and structural analysis.

Mr Gürsoy has solid experience in prosecuting and enforcing patents, and regularly counsels clients on portfolio management and intellectual property strategy. He has a strong track record of successful patent litigation in Türkiye, where he frequently collaborates with IP litigators.

Mr Gürsoy also provides IP advisory services to a diverse client base, including large multinational corporations and small to medium-sized enterprises. He specialises in developing cost-effective strategies for building and managing IP portfolios, with a particular focus on assisting businesses in expanding into new markets and technology fields. Mr Gürsoy’s expertise in intellectual property law and his ability to provide practical and strategic advice enable his clients to protect their valuable IP assets while achieving their business objectives.

Mr Gürsoy is a member of the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property.
