Bruce is a patent attorney in Dentons’ London office. He is a member of the Technology, Media and Telecoms practice group.
Bruce’s practice is primarily focused on representing clients in opposition proceedings before the European patent office. However, he also has experience coordinating global patent prosecution and portfolio management, prosecuting patent applications before both the UK and the European patent offices and advising clients on patent infringement risk. In addition, Bruce is a qualified patent litigator and has advised clients on matters before the UK courts. He has over ten years of experience working with a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to large multinational corporations.
He holds a master degree in chemistry and, before joining Dentons, Bruce spent over 10 years working for a leading boutique patent firm in the life sciences and chemistry sphere, representing clients across a variety of technical fields including: pharmaceuticals, fuel cells, agrochemicals, batteries, medical devices, liquid crystal displays, polymers, industrial chemistry, electrochemistry, synthetic diamonds, plant science and nanotechnology.
