China Science Patent & Trademark Agent Limited ("China Science" or "CSPTAL") is a full-service intellectual property law firm in China. Established in 1984, the same year when China's patent law was first promulgated, China Science has actively represented its foreign and domestic clients in their pursuits of intellectual property rights and protection over 34 years. China Science has been recognized as a premier IP firm by clients all over world.

 China Science started its business in 1984 as an exclusive agent working for and under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the state-funded national research institute. Our firm then became one of the first few firms granted a special license by the State Council to handle foreign-related intellectual property matters. In the 1990's, China Science became a private firm wholly owned by its shareholders. Since then, China Science has entered into a period of significant growth under the leadership of Ms. Yue Li. As of 2019, there are 300 professionals and staff in total, including 160 patent agents, 18 of whom also possess legal professional qualification. Among them, 85 have been working at China Science for more than 10 years.
