Our history began more than a 120 years ago, at the time when important transformations were taking place in the construction of the country's identity. Nine years after the first Republican Constitution, in 1900, Carl Buschmann's firm was founded, which later merged with Eduardo Dannemann's.

In 1947 Peter Dirk Siemsen, a lawyer and industrial property agent, and Catharina Bigler, an industrial property agent, started working at Eduardo Dannemann's firm. Six years later, the company Dannemann Siemsen & Co. was created. In 1958, Luiz de Ipanema Moreira's firm merged with Dannemann Siemsen & Co., giving rise to Dannemann Siemsen Bigler & Ipanema Moreira. Six years later, the company Dannemann, Siemsen & Co. was created. In 1958, Luiz de Ipanema Moreira's firm merged with Dannemann, Siemsen & Co., giving rise to Dannemann Siemsen Bigler & Ipanema Moreira.

Today we have offices in three Brazilian state capitals and we have gathered a team of practitioners that lead in knowledge of intellectual property, litigation, contracts and other areas of Law. This allows us to advise our clients in the main legal proceedings, making us a strategic partner in the pursuit of innovation and knowledge.
