Esra Ter

Consultant, Attorney at Law, Stock Intellectual Property Services AS

Esra Ter is a chartered trademark and patent attorney. She is also an attorney at law, admitted to the Bar of Istanbul Province in 1999. Ms Ter has an LLM from the University of Hertfordshire, where she covered many aspects of international trade and e-commerce law, including intellectual property.

Ms Ter’s practice has always covered IP and general commercial law, even during her internship in 1997. After her in-house role at a multinational automotive company, she continued her career as an associate lawyer where she also advised foreign clients from different industries including banking. She began working at Stock in 2004, where her practice focuses on IP law exclusively. She is now the head of the Dundar Law Firm team, Stock’s litigation arm, as well as a consultant to Stock AS.

Practising as a litigation lawyer, Ms Ter has also been providing legal advice to her multinational clients in a broad range of fields, from the entertainment industry to pharmaceuticals and consumer goods. Bringing in-depth experience in all forms of IP litigation when building IP strategies tailored to the business needs of her clients, she adopts a holistic and cross-border approach.

Ms Ter is a founding member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) Turkey, the Turkish arm of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and is a member of INTA.
