Jessica qualified as a Trans-Tasman patent attorney in 2016, has a PhD in chemistry and a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Hons I) in chemistry and environmental science. She works with inventors and innovators across the chemical sciences landscape. Jessica has experience across the full spectrum of patent practice. In the pharmaceutical sector, she has experience working with patent term extension and regulatory exclusivity regimes, as well as assessing freedom to operate for products and processes relevant to biopharmaceuticals and their development. Jessica works with SMEs, Universities and research institutions, foreign companies and multinational corporates. She has authored publications across IP law and practice issues and has given seminars on IP at industry conferences.
