Since joining Global Prior Art six years ago, Ms Smiljkovikj has addressed a wide range of telecom matters germane to 3G/LTE, 5G, MIMO as well as 802.11 and 802.16 technologies. She has deep expertise in such areas as heterogeneous cellular networks, information theory, cooperative communication, signal processing and data communication. Ms Smiljkovikj obtained her MSc in Wireless and Mobile Communications at Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Macedonia. During her studies she was a visiting researcher at Aalborg University in Denmark in the research group of Prof Petar Popovski. She obtained her BSc in Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies from the same university with Honours. In addition to her academic training, she worked on numerous FP7, NATO SfP and local industrial projects.
