Marc Holtorf leads Pinsent Masons’ German risk advisory group, including the intellectual property team, and the German life sciences sector. He specialises in supporting pharmaceutical and medical device and other high-tech companies to navigate through the complex world of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property. He has represented clients in numerous national and cross-border patent, trademark and unfair competition disputes and licensing projects. Marc has been the lead lawyer in about 1,000 intellectual property court proceedings, in particular preliminary injunction proceedings. In addition to holding a number of influential positions within the legal industry, Marc has also led key thought leadership seminars and specialist workshops on the Unified Patent Court. Marc is an authorised UPC representative, and is able to represent clients before the UPC.
