Marcin Ziarkowski is an advocate and associate in the IP and commercial litigation department at Allen & Overy Warsaw. He specialises in industrial property law and copyright law. He frequently advises on the IP/IT aspects of M&A transactions, including in the IT, e-commerce and new technologies sectors, in which securing those aspects is often the crucial transactional element.

Marcin supports his team in drafting pleadings in commercial proceedings, as well as in cases regarding patents, unfair competition and consumer protection before civil and administrative courts and regulatory bodies. He has been involved in preparing legal arguments in numerous proceedings for the invalidation of industrial property rights before the Polish Patent Office.
