Mark Leo P Bejemino has more than eight years’ IP experience. His practice includes patent, trademark and copyright prosecution and IP litigation. He applies his superior technical acumen to patent drafting and prosecution matters, freedom to operate searches, and patent invalidation and infringement cases. He has drafted patent specifications for applications filed with and granted by the US Patent and Trademark Office and the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines. Bejemino is ranked as a leading lawyer in IAM Patent 1000.
Bejemino obtained his JD from the University of the Philippines in 2014, as well as a degree in applied physics. He has also completed patent drafting and training courses provided by the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys and the Japan Patent Office.
Bejemino is a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, the Asian Patent Attorneys Association, the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines and the Makati Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, where he previously served as assistant secretary of the board of directors and deputy chair of the Ways and Means Committee. He has taught at the University of the Philippines College of Law, San Sebastian College of Law and WIPO–IPOPHL Summer School.
