Paul is recognized as one of the world's leading IP strategists (IAM Strategy 300, 2017-2023).

Paul spent over a decade monetizing patents for IPValue Management, Inc. Paul started his career as a trial lawyer and patent attorney, including a seven-year stint at the international law firm of Morrison & Foerster, where he represented clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to smaller, rapidly growing technology companies, as both plaintiffs and defendants, in patent, trademark and license disputes.

Paul attended Tulane University as a Dean’s Honor Scholar, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. Paul then moved to Washington D.C., where he worked at the National Institutes of Health (National Cancer Institute) while pursuing his law degree at the Catholic University of America, from which he graduated with honors.
