René Raggers

René Raggers' path to the patent field and safeguarding inventors and their innovations was not a direct extension of his studies in Biology/Biotechnology at the University of Groningen and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. Nor was it a result of his PhD research in cell biology and cancer at the University of Amsterdam. Instead, his exposure to the world of patents came during his tenure as a medical advisor and product developer at Nutricia (now Danone), where he first encountered patent law through a befriended patent attorney. Since 2005, René has been actively engaged in the field of patent law.

"I have a scientific background in oncology and find it deeply fulfilling to contribute to this field as a patent attorney. My enthusiasm extends to working with DNA, plants, nutrition, pharmaceuticals, biologicals, and microorganisms. I take pride in my extensive and continually evolving technical knowledge in these areas.
