Sarah Hassan serves as a patent litigation associate at the firm's Washington D.C office. She leverages her electrical engineering background to represent clients in a wide range of intellectual property matters involving cutting-edge technologies. Prior to joining Baker Botts, she worked for fourteen years as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where she focused on patent applications related to digital communications.

During law school, Sarah served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and competed at Frankfurt Arbitration Moot Court in Germany. She is fluent in Arabic.
