Shukadev Khuraijam is a patent lawyer with more than 15 years’ experience advising clients on contentious and non-contentious issues. With dual degrees in science and law, he offers expert strategic advice on legal and techno-legal aspects in patent cases, focusing on pharmaceutical, biotech and chemical patents. He appears before the civil courts, the Indian Patent Office and the Intellectual Property Appellate Board, and is noted for his involvement in cases that have shaped Indian patent jurisprudence.

Mr Khuraijam is a frequent commentator on the Indian patent milieu, has penned several articles and often speaks at global and domestic IP forums. He is an executive member of the AIPPI Indian Group and a nominated AIPPI standing committee member for patents.
