Tom Simone

Analyst, J.S. Held

Tommaso Simone works as an Analyst for Ocean Tomo, a part of J.S. Held’s Advisory Practice. The practice area provides investment banking services to clients across a wide range of industries and geographies, including buy and sell-side M&A advisory and capital raising. Ocean Tomo’s advisory practice also assists in IP-specific matters such as litigation financing and general patent monetization advisory.

Prior to joining Ocean Tomo, a part of J.S. Held, Mr. Simone worked as a Marketing and Sales assistant for Pinewood Technologies, where he gained exposure to software licensing campaigns. At university, he worked as a Research Assistant in a leading Hong Kong-based legal practice, assisting the firm in Trademark infringement research and administrative matters. Alongside his work at SIPS, he also worked as a Financial Analyst for a London-based Financial Journal, Ex Capsa, where he published and edited articles covering global markets, equity research, and investment banking.

Mr. Simone holds a BASc in Liberal Arts from University College London.
