Yannan Li is a senior associate and licensing executive in the patent practice at SITAO. She is a patent attorney qualified by the China National Intellectual Property Administration. Her expertise includes patent prosecution, re-examination, validity actions and litigation, and her technical experience covers a range of biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals and medical devices technologies. She also focuses on patent monetisation, particularly patent licences and transactions for esteemed domestic firms and global IP monetisation companies.

Yannan’s practice is focused on patent licences, including licensing strategy consultation and implementation, drafting of licensing agreements, business negotiation facilitation and management of licensing and transaction deals. She is also actively involved in a number of patent litigations covering various technologies, particularly fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory disputes.

In addition to working on professional matters, given her extensive previous experience in business development in IP firms, she is also responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with overseas clients.
