Yulan Kuo is a senior partner with Formosa Transnational. His practice focuses on patent litigation, intellectual property, biotechnology and IT technology.
Mr Kuo has been practising for 30 years. His team includes engineers holding PhDs and master’s degrees. He served as counsel for the Judicial Yuan – the highest judicial power of Taiwan – in establishing the IP Court. Mr Kuo also counsels a broad range of biopharmaceutical companies, both international groups and local players with competitive advantages in the global market. He is active in patent practice in the China market and has been highly recommended as a leading lawyer in intellectual property by IAM and others for many years. Mr Kuo is member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Chemical Society and INTA.
