A 12-week cardiovascular clinical research internship for undergraduate pre-med students and recent graduates. Interns are paired with physician mentors at Abbott Northwestern Hospital to participate in groundbreaking cardiovascular research, shadow clinicians, observe procedures, and present findings at a poster session. Many interns become authors on peer-reviewed publications and present at national conferences.
