Psychiatry Observerships — Columbia University Department of Psychiatry / New York State Psychiatric Institute

A 4-week clinical observership program for international medical students and graduates that provides exposure to the American psychiatric healthcare system. Participants rotate through four different clinical services including inpatient units, psychiatric emergency rooms, consultation services, and child psychiatry. The program is designed to develop understanding of American psychiatric clinical practices.
