About this opportunity
An 11-week, full-time, in-person summer research program offered at the end of the first year of medical school. Students conduct basic or clinical biomedical research under faculty supervision, attend weekly seminars on biomedical research and ethics, and present findings at a Student Research Symposium. The program is supported by three NIH T35 grants focusing on cardiovascular/pulmonary/hematology/stem cells, diabetes/obesity/kidney/digestive/endocrine diseases, and neuroscience/neuropathology/aging.
