Diversity Visiting Student Scholarship — Brown University

The Diversity Visiting Student (DVS) Scholarship program offers fourth-year medical students the opportunity to participate in clinical electives across multiple specialties at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, with a focus on health equity and inclusive clinical learning environments. The program provides a scholarship award of $1,000-$2,500 for travel, housing, and personal expenses to support students from underrepresented backgrounds and those with demonstrated commitment to health equity. Participants will gain clinical experience in diverse settings serving Providence's multicultural population, including immigrant, refugee, and LGBTQIA+ communities. Applications are made through the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) platform, with deadlines eight weeks prior to each elective start date.
