About this opportunity
The University of Virginia Department of Orthopaedic Surgery offers visiting MS4 medical student rotations across five scheduled blocks in summer/fall 2026 (June through October), with options ranging from 4-5 weeks each. Students gain clinical exposure across eight subspecialty services including adult reconstruction, foot and ankle, hand and upper extremity, trauma, sports medicine, pediatric orthopedics, spine surgery, and oncology. The program welcomes medical students of all training levels and adheres strictly to duty hour restrictions (maximum 80 hours per week averaged over four weeks).
