The Stanford-HBMC Summer Research Program is an 8-week, full-time on-campus research initiative that pairs rising second-year medical students from four Historically Black Medical Colleges (Charles R. Drew University, Howard University, Meharry Medical College, and Morehouse School of Medicine) with Stanford Medicine faculty mentors. The program includes networking events with residency program directors, CV/resume workshops, and opportunities to earn academic credit through published papers, reports, and posters.
