Clinical Training — Duke University Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences

Duke child and adolescent psychiatry (CAP) fellows provide patient care in diverse clinical settings including state psychiatric hospitals, university hospitals, and specialty clinics. First-year fellows rotate through inpatient units, consultation-liaison services, emergency psychiatry, and ambulatory experiences with psychotherapy training. Second-year fellows focus on outpatient child psychiatry with opportunities for specialized electives and research.
