Artifacts of Decomposition — University of Florida College of Medicine

This graduate course describes the main artifacts of decomposition used to estimate the post mortem interval, covering both biological and non-biological methods. Students will learn to identify decomposition artifacts, understand PMI estimation techniques, and distinguish between different estimation methods with focus on their strengths and weaknesses.
