UMCP, UMSOM Launch B.S.-M.D. Program to Bridge Engineering, Data Science, Medicine — University of Maryland, College Park and University of Maryland School of Medicine

A new B.S.-M.D. program launched by UMCP and UMSOM that prepares undergraduate students majoring in engineering, computer science, or mathematics for medical school. Students gain hands-on clinical experience, participate in community service, and conduct research at the intersection of engineering, data science, and medicine, supported by a $12.75 million five-year grant.
