Quality Improvement and Patient Safety — University of Rochester Medical Center

The Quality Improvement and Patient Safety program at the University of Rochester Internal Medicine Residency engages residents in QI/PS improvement projects through a robust curriculum including IHI certification, M&M conferences, and High Value Care initiatives. Residents participate in multidisciplinary QI teams, develop QI projects over two years, and have the option to pursue a Distinction Track with deeper engagement in institutional QI/PS leadership activities and conference presentations.
