Trauma Surgery Acting Internship

A four-week acting internship for students interested in advanced trauma surgery training at MetroHealth Medical Center. Students function as acting interns on the Trauma Service, spending two weeks on day team (6AM-6PM) and two weeks on night team, with involvement in trauma resuscitations, operating room cases, ICU management, and procedures. The rotation provides development of clinical judgment and technical skills under direct supervision for students planning careers in surgical disciplines.
