About this opportunity
A two-week wilderness medicine elective combining didactic instruction with practical field experience in the Sierra Nevadas. The course covers wilderness trauma, search and rescue, environmental emergencies, and wilderness preparedness. Students learn to apply wilderness medicine knowledge to real-world scenarios including water safety, rock climbing, and wilderness improvisation.
