Surgical Critical Care (SICU) Rotation

A 20-bed state-of-the-art surgical intensive care unit rotation at a Level 1 trauma center where surgical residents gain hands-on experience in critical care procedures and multidisciplinary patient management. Directed by surgical intensivists, residents participate in bedside procedures including central line placement, arterial lines, tracheostomies, and tube thoracostomies under experienced, board-accredited faculty.
