Surgical Critical Care – UI Health

A 4-week elective rotation in the surgical intensive care unit (SICU) open to M3 and M4 students who have completed all M3 core clerkships. Students participate in twice-daily rounds, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ICU management under direct supervision of faculty and residents, managing approximately 10 patients per week.
