About this opportunity
The predoctoral IRTA/Visiting Fellow program introduces doctoral students to biomedical research and provides practical research training through the NIH Intramural Research Program. Students enrolled in doctoral or medical degree programs can perform dissertation research in close cooperation with NIH or interrupt their studies for up to one year of research before returning to their degree-granting institution. The program is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and foreign nationals enrolled in universities in the U.S. or abroad.
