About this opportunity
One-year research fellowship designed for rising fourth-year medical students or medical students nearing completion of their fourth-year curriculum pursuing research opportunity prior to residency training. Fellows work closely with faculty on clinical, translational, and/or basic science projects across all clinical divisions including Otology/Neurotology, Rhinology/Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, Pediatric Otolaryngology, Laryngology, Sleep Surgery, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. Fellowship includes formal research methodology training, participation in departmental didactics, quality meetings, and social events. Fellows matriculated at US-based LCME accredited medical schools can complete an acting internship (AI) with the residency training program. University Hospitals fully supports credentialing costs and registration/travel expenses for up to two academic meetings for accepted podium presentations.
