Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Medical Student Research Year

The RUSH University Medical Center Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offers one funded research position per year for medical students and fellows to do clinical and/or translational research over one to two years. Projects cover breast reconstruction, craniofacial, peripheral nerve, aesthetic and gender affirmation surgery, plus translational wound healing. Applications close January 31, 2027, faculty interviews run in February 2027, and the research year begins in July.
