Dr. Uma Srikumaran invites medical students to apply for the Shoulder and Sports Medicine Research Fellowship in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for the 2026-2027 academic year. This paid ($47,000) research fellowship has a flexible start date of May to August. Fellows can expect to produce a minimum of 10-15 manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and podium presentations. Research fellows will also be provided with a rich and well-rounded experience that we hope will have a long-lasting impact on their careers. During the year, fellows will work closely with Dr. Srikumaran, JHU residents and fellows, and other members of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. The Department has weekly educational activities including grand rounds, shoulder research/clinical meetings, and journal club.
