The Rush Sports Medicine Research Fellowship under Dr. Nikhil Verma and Dr. Jorge Chahla provides a year-long clinical research experience at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago for medical students interested in orthopedic sports medicine. Fellows work with nationally recognized sports medicine faculty and are expected to produce high-volume publication output including manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations at national meetings. This is an excellent gap year opportunity for students pursuing orthopaedic surgery residency.
