This is a tremendous opportunity for students taking a gap year to strengthen their application for orthopedic surgery residency. Research positions include roles with either the joints, trauma, sports, or shoulder and elbow departments and their respective faculty. In addition, fellows will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing prospective clinical trials within each division. Duration: 1 year. Compensation: Full-time, hourly minimum compensation. Location: Detroit, Michigan (Henry Ford Hospital), mandatory for the fellow to be in person. Required: US Medical Student (M3), relocation to Detroit, Michigan or surrounding areas, good academic standing and strong interest in pursuing a career in orthopaedic surgery.
