The University of Southern California (USC) Caruso Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery clinician-scientist training program (CSTP) is a 9-12 month program offering medical students the opportunity to be involved in meaningful research experiences with close mentorship by world-class faculty researchers. The program offers professional development, a chance to participate in a vibrant & collaborative research community and will give trainees exposure to the unique and exciting career pathway of a clinician-scientist. Two medical student trainees will be accepted per year. The majority of funding is paid for by an R25 grant from the NIH-NIDCD with supplemental funds from the USC Caruso Department.
