About this opportunity
An optional longitudinal elective during the third year exclusively for UP Campus students that teaches wilderness and sports medicine principles through didactics, outdoor activities, and community volunteering. Students complete the Outdoor Emergency Care Course with the National Ski Patrol and the Advanced Wilderness Life Support course, learning to manage medical conditions and assess/treat patients in non-clinical and remote settings.
