About this opportunity
Palliative Medicine is a specialty focusing on palliation of physical symptoms and treatment of physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual suffering for individuals and families with serious illness. Students participate in inpatient consultation services and ambulatory palliative medicine clinics, learning pain management, symptom assessment, and advanced communication skills through direct patient care, bedside teaching, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
